A little about me…
My name is Jasmine and I’m the voice behind Marietta Jene. Marietta is my grandma’s name and Jene is my sister’s middle name. Pretty huh?
Basics
- I grew up in Washington, south of Seattle.
- I’ve lived in 5 states.
- I just moved back to Seattle for a job opportunity in December 2016 after living out of state for over 10 years.
- I’m an exercise addict. I’ve run multiple marathons and many halfs. I also love classic weight training, interval training, pilates, barre, and I’m game for anything else.
- Eating is one of my favorite things to do (hence the need to be addicted to exercise). We eat a primarily gluten-free diet at home.
- I love being outside – running, hiking, camping.
- I’m also passionate about expressing myself through fashion. I do my best to find on-trend pieces that are affordable.
- I’m a full-time finance professional with a CPA.
- Family > Everything.
I started this blog as a way to express things that inspire me. I love fashion, food, home decor, fitness, travel, and being outdoors. I will likely post about each topic. I’ll include links in my posts as much as possible.
